Overview
An airborne node for
communications and sensing.
FARBASE extends MILLIBEAM’s RF platform into the air. It is intended to provide resilient beyond-line-of-sight connectivity, real-time reconnaissance and a configurable relay layer for autonomous systems and dismounted teams.
Its modular mission payload is designed to turn compatible drones into networked communications and sensing nodes for contested, remote and infrastructure-poor environments.
Development status: in development. Capability scope, payload configuration and programme timing remain subject to engineering validation and partner requirements.
